Sonic Summary

The position involves performing diagnostic radiographic examinations for patients of all ages using radiation-producing equipment as directed by a physician or chiropractor.
Candidates must have graduated from an AMA accredited program in Radiologic Technology, with experience preferred but new graduates considered.
A New Jersey DEP License, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, and BLS certification are required, along with IV Therapy certification within 90 days of hire.
The role has physical requirements including lifting, standing, and exposure to various environmental conditions such as noise and radiation.

MAJOR FUNCTION:

Performs diagnostic radiographic examinations as prescribed by a licensed physician or chiropractor utilizing radiation producing equipment within established departmental guidelines serving neonate, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.

QUALIFICATION:

Education & Experience:

Graduate of an AMA accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
Experience preferred but new graduates acceptable.

Certification/Licensure:

New Jersey DEP License required.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.
BLS certified required.
IV Therapy certification within 90 days of hire
