Job Summary:
A Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting goods from a distribution point to customers in a timely, safe, and professional manner. This role requires strong time management, navigation skills, and a focus on customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Pick up, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses according to assigned routes
Verify delivery details (addresses, contents, and instructions) before departure
Load and unload goods safely, sometimes handling heavy items
Follow traffic laws and safety regulations at all times
Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and receipts
Communicate with dispatchers, supervisors, or customers regarding delays or issues
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
Perform basic vehicle checks and report maintenance needs

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to operate delivery vehicles (cars, vans, or trucks)
Good navigation skills (GPS and map reading)
Strong time management and organizational skills
Basic math and record-keeping abilities
Physical stamina for lifting and carrying packages
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift and carry packages (often 25–50 lbs or more)
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
