We specialize in designing, installing, and maintaining systems that optimize processes, increase efficiency, and ensure reliable operations for a range of clients in food and beverage and Navy facilities.  A motivated and skilled Industrial Field Technician is sought to join the team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and instrumentation. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and programming principles, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced field environment.


Responsibilities:

Perform installation, configuration, and testing of industrial control systems.

Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues in automated systems.

Interpret wiring schematics, technical manuals, and diagrams for installation.

Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and other technicians to ensure seamless system integration.

Document all service activities, troubleshooting procedures, and system configurations accurately and on time.

Provide clear and effective communication with clients regarding service status and resolutions.

Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout.

Be available for travel to project sites as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:


High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related field preferred.

2-5 years of experience in industrial instrumentation and control systems.

Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).

Experience with HMI/SCADA software and programming tools.

Familiarity with VFDs.

In-depth understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, control circuits, and instrumentation.

Knowledge of industrial networks and communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus).

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including blueprints, wiring schematics, and diagrams.

Ability to accurately identify and distinguish between color-coded wiring and safety markings under various lighting conditions.

Ability to safely install, troubleshoot, and terminate control circuits according to schematic diagrams.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Willingness to travel to client sites as required.


Required:

Able to pass a background check.

Able to pass a drug screen for federal contractor requirements.

Hold a valid driver's license with clean driving record.
