Job Summary

The Optical Technician will assist with the manufacturing and testing of various fiber optic and electrical components within a manufacturing environment. Also, able to perform various other duties and activities as assigned by the supervisor or manager within the physical constraints of the job.
 
 
Responsibilities
Manufacture, assemble and test various fiber optic and electrical components
Perform Soldering of electrical components and inspect solder quality 
Identify non-conforming material
Follow instructions to maintain workflow in accordance with process cycle process times.
Perform intricate procedures during product assembly process
 
 
Skills/Education Required 
High School Diploma or equivalent
Good computer skills and Microsoft knowledge
IPC J-STD-100 certification
 
 
Skills/Education Preferred
1 to 2+ years of related experience in fiber optic and/or electronic assembly
 
 
Travel Requirement:
This role may require domestic and potentially international travel of up to:  <10%
