In this role, you will help care for some of the area's premier residential landscapes byĀ monitoringĀ the health of lawns and plants,Ā identifyingĀ potential problems, performing treatments, and recommending solutions that keep our clients' properties looking and performing their best.Ā
PreviousĀ lawn or plant health care experience is a plus, but it is notĀ required. We are willing to train a motivated, dependable candidate who is eager to learn.Ā

WhatĀ YouāllĀ DoĀ
As a Lawn & Plant Health Care Specialist, you will:Ā
Perform lawn, plant health care, fertilizer, and other approved applications on assigned propertiesĀ
Monitor lawns and landscapes for overall health and changing care needsĀ
Learn toĀ identifyĀ common turf, weed, insect, disease, and plant health issuesĀ
IdentifyĀ opportunities to improve the appearance and performance of clients' landscapesĀ
MaintainĀ accurateĀ application and service documentation asĀ requiredĀ
Follow all company and regulatory safety procedures andĀ participateĀ in field safety trainingĀ
Properly useĀ andĀ maintainĀ assigned equipment and safety gearĀ
Communicate observations, concerns, and opportunities to Account Managers and, whenĀ appropriate, directly with clientsĀ
Complete timesheets, work tickets, safety documentation, and other required administrative tasksĀ
Perform other duties as needed to support the teamĀ

Be willing and able to learn plant identification, pest identification, application techniques, and proper product useĀ
Pay attention to details and notice changes or potential problems in a landscapeĀ
Communicate professionally with teammates, managers, and clientsĀ
Be comfortable following detailed safety procedures and application instructionsĀ
Be willing to obtain required licenses or certifications with company supportĀ
Experience in lawn care, landscaping, horticulture, plant health care, agriculture,Ā groundsĀ maintenance, orĀ a related fieldĀ is preferred but notĀ required.Ā
Experience and EducationĀ
PreviousĀ professional lawn care, plant health care, landscaping, horticulture, or pesticide application experience is a plus.Ā
No specific number of years of industry experience isĀ required.Ā We are open to candidates with limited experience whoĀ demonstrateĀ a strong work ethic, reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.Ā
Training will be provided to help the right candidate develop the technical knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the position.Ā
LICENSE REQUIREMENTSĀ
Ā Valid driver's license ā RequiredĀ
DOT Medical Card ā Required or ability to obtainĀ
Massachusetts Pesticide License ā Preferred; willingness and ability to obtain requiredĀ
Hoisting License ā Not required unless needed for assigned responsibilitiesĀ
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSĀ
This position requires the ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, including:Ā
