The Sillerman Center at Brandeis University seeks to hire a temporary research assistant who will be responsible for assisting on the the following research projects:
1. Philanthropic Collaboratives: Challenges, Opportunities, and Community Building
2. Philanthropy Meeting the Moment and Filling the Gap: An Exploration of How Private Philanthropy Aims to Support Communities at a Time of Uncertainty
For both of the above projects, the RA will work in collaboration with the rest of the Sillerman team to support and finalize data collection, data analysis, and writing the associated journal articles for each project. These projects are to be viewed as team efforts and all team members will be contributing equitably. The RA is expected to have knowledge about the field of philanthropy in the United States, an interest and experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods, and strong writing skills. The RA is expected to be a strong communicator and participate in weekly check-ins with their supervisor. 
The is a part time, temporary research position from Dec 2026 - May 2027. It will be for 20 hours per week.
The hourly rate is $35
