POSITION SUMMARY:

As part of the Clay Brook Concierge Team, this role oversees the ski and snowboard boot room at the Clay Brook. The Boot Valet provides concierge service to store and record incoming boots for guests and owners. Once the boots are checked in, the Boot Valet will make sure they can be summoned by request all day during lift hours to the counter, and to the Valet upon check-out. This position is full time seasonal with a starting pay of $19/hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain knowledge of arrivals and departures of Clay Brook guests and owners.
• Label boots with Last name of guests/owners. Log the storage location.
• Arrive a half hour before the lifts spin, in order to store late arrivals, and to respond to guests as they get ready for the day.
• Transport any relevant Food & Beverage from the Gate House Cafeteria to the Boot Room as requested.
• Keep Boot Room clean, keep coffee station clean and stocked, keep water supply stocked
• Cross-train assist team members: Ski Valet and Concierge, providing assistance covering their duties as needed and as available.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
• Strong communication skills.
• Outgoing and enthusiastic personality.
• Mountain environment living experience preferred.
• Must be able to use Excel on an iPad.
• Position involves working outdoors to some extent.
• Must be able to stand for 6-8 hours and lift minimum of 30 lbs
• Must be able to work outside for periods of time in changing weather conditions; i.e., rain, snow, wind and/or cold.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
