Job DetailsJob Location: Corporate Operations Center - Warren, OH 44483The Commercial Portfolio Analyst/Senior Commercial Portfolio Analyst manages an existing commercial loan portfolio by analyzing financials and timely identifying risk within the portfolio. Key responsibilities include collecting and tracking annual financial requirements, analyzing the financials of existing borrowers, recommending risk ratings, monitoring the health of the overall commercial loan portfolio, and assisting with new loan requests as needed. All job positions at 7 17 Credit Union may be assigned further duties with or without notice, verbally or in writing.  Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Primary Duties - Portfolio Management Analyze existing business and commercial loans and evaluate ongoing performance levels, and ensure compliance with specific performance requirements Complete financial and repayment analysis with a focus on cash flow, liquidity, and leverage analysis Partner with borrowers, lenders, legal counsel, commercial loan officers, and servicing regarding ongoing commercial loan administration  Request, collect, and review quarterly and annual financial documentation  Create and present relevant loan portfolio reports as required, and provide insights and strategic business recommendations  Maintain compliance monitoring database that tracks credit approval requirements and receipt of member's financial reporting requirements  Manage and process requests relating to various areas of Commercial Lending Servicing  Prepare reports for the Special Asset Committee (SAC) and maintain SAC files for review by auditors/regulators Prepare monthly ALLL specific reserve reports for commercial loans Secondary Duties – New Loan Underwriting and Miscellaneous Manage personal underwriting pipeline of smaller, less complex loans ensuring loan requests are reviewed timely and accurately Perform due diligence and develop financial projections for loan requests submitted to underwriting, ensuring that requests meet policy and guideline requirements Accurately risk rate proposed loans utilizing all available information Write detailed credit approval memorandums based on the financial trends and ratios and present to the appropriate level of approval authority Ensure credit proposals underwritten and presented for approval are compliant with Board Policy and NCUA regulations Keep abreast of changes within the regulatory environment to ensure compliance while responding to inquiries from auditors and regulatory agencies as necessary. Complete annual regulation training as assigned. Perform all other duties as assigned.
