Job Description:Ā 

Ā 

Prevent quality issue in advance and maximize output (yield, OEE) through the establishment of inspection system, management of inspection equipment maintenance, improvement of inspection equipment performance, and the introduction of new equipment.Ā 

Ā 

Primary Responsibilities:Ā 

  • Compliance with health/safety/environmental/fire regulationsĀ 
  • In case of emergency or danger, immediately stop work (e.g., in case of safety accidents such as worker
       injury (stenosis, cut, etc.)Ā 
  • Report singularity to Part Leader / Team LeaderĀ 
  • Report accidents and risk factors to Part Leader / Team LeaderĀ 
  • Ā Implement safety improvementsĀ 
  • Inspection machine PM management (inspection machine maintenance/performance management)Ā 
  • PM Planning (work content, period, personnel input, time required)Ā 
  • Technician PM work order and result checkĀ 
  • Optimization of preventive maintenance items for inspection machine maintenance (PM Activity)Ā 
  • Establishment of inspection machine spare parts management systemĀ 
  • Calibration to maintain inspection machine performance, management of MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis)Ā 
  • Inspector equipment improvement activitiesĀ 
  • Analyze and quantify equipment failure items (MTTR, MTBF)Ā 
  • Analyze the cause of equipment failure and derive improvement itemsĀ 
  • Review/derive and implement the predictive maintenance plan for the advancement of inspection equipmentĀ 
  • Prevention of recurrence through failure analysis report creation, education/dissemination, and improvement for BMĀ 
  • Ā Request and implement improvement on equipment makers for chronic problemsĀ 
  • Improving/managing inspection machine accuracy and detection powerĀ 
  • Monitoring inspection machine accuracy and detection powerĀ 
  • Derivation/analysis of major factors for major inspection itemsĀ 
  • For process-borne issues, feedback to the production and equipment departmentsĀ 
  • For issues attributable to the inspection machine, improvement plans are derived and inspection conditions are optimized.Ā 
  • Continuous monitoring of the results of the measuresĀ 
  • Establishment of inspection information management system
       
  • Investment review and investment cost capex execution approval based on the investment process.Ā 
  • Inspection information management system development schedule managementĀ 
  • Reviewing compliance with system ordering specifications and monitoring data I/F stabilizationĀ 
  • System mass production transfer (to production department) and reporting (to supervisor)Ā 
  • Expansion of equipment and dissemination/application of new technologies for inspectionĀ 
  •  Investment review and investment cost capex execution approval based on the investment process.Ā 
  • Inspection machine set up schedule managementĀ 
  • Verification of facility production capacity and stabilization of operation quality in accordance with SAT standards and facility order specificationsĀ 
  • After completing the inspection machine set up, mass production is transferred and inspection report is carried outĀ 
  • Review/plan of Inspection machine Model development and Model changeĀ 
  • Review of Model development (investment, schedule)Ā 
  • Investment review and investment cost capex execution approval based on the Model development processĀ 
  • Inspection machine H/W production and inspection recipe development schedule managementĀ 
  • Model change recipe status managementĀ 
  • Developing Technician skill improvement plan and implementingĀ 
  • Develop and run training courses to improve technician skillsĀ 
  • Technician skill matrix managementĀ 
  • Establishment and management of inspection machine standards (design, installation, operation)Ā 
  • Establishment and revision of inspection machine specifications and design standardsĀ 
  • Establishment and revision of inspection machine IPĀ 
  • Establishment and revision of PFD, BM/PM/PD Manual (BM/PD Measures Guide) *PFD: Process Flow DiagramĀ 
  • Analyze the cause and check the action history for BM/PD issuesĀ 
  • Enactment/revision of PFD and BM/PD manual on BM/PD issuesĀ 
  • Production team sharing of BM/PM/PD Manual (EKMS, B-Lex registration) and inspection technician trainingĀ 
  • Developing CompetencyĀ 
  •  Participate in LBA (LG Energy Solution Battery Academy)Ā 
  • Participate in business exchanges for each siteĀ 
  • Participate in online training (GMES platform, B-Lex case, etc.)  * GMES : Global Manufacturing Execution SystemĀ 
  • Participate in mentoring program with new engineersĀ

Education:Ā 

  • Bachelor's Degree required in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or similar requiredĀ 

Skills:Ā 

  • 0 to 3 Years Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering preferredĀ 
  • Machine Vision Engineering in a manufacturing or automotive engineering environment through an internship, co-op, entry level job role, or similar is preferred  
  • Driven by objectives/KPI’s; consistent; and high personal ownership to upholding accountability to established standards and practicesĀ 
  • Ability to use Logical thinking and decision making by focusing on identifying root cause objectively using data, analyzing production results, and following proven problem-solving methodsĀ 
  • Knowledge of Mechanical/technical curiosity and mindsetĀ
