Non-CDL Delivery Driver – Rhode Island (Multi NE State Routes)

Island Tech Services is a leading provider of emergency and specialty vehicle upfitting solutions.
We're looking for a dependable, safety conscious Non-CDL Delivery Driver to join our Rhode Island team! In this role, you'll transport and deliver products between company locations throughout the Northeast, primarily traveling to New Hampshire, Maine, New Jersey, and Ronkonkoma, NY.

Pay: $22-25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Work Location: Rhode Island, with regional and multi-state travel
Reports To: Distribution Manager
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate company-provided delivery vehicles that do not require a commercial driver's license (CDL)
Transport and deliver products to company locations throughout the Northeast, primarily NH, ME, NJ, and Ronkonkoma, NY
Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
Load, unload, and properly secure merchandise for safe transportation
Verify delivery orders and paperwork for accuracy
Communicate with management regarding delivery updates, delays, or issues
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Follow all applicable state and federal transportation and traffic regulations
Provide professional and courteous service at each delivery location
Qualifications
Valid state-issued driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to safely operate a non-CDL commercial delivery vehicle
Comfortable driving extended distances and traveling across multiple states
Ability to independently operate company-provided GPS and electronic logbook devices
Strong time-management, organizational, and communication skills
Dependable, punctual, and committed to safe driving practices
Ability to work independently and follow assigned delivery schedules
Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including loading, unloading, bending, and reaching
Preferred Experience
Previous delivery driving, transportation, or logistics experience
Experience with regional or multi-state delivery routes
Familiarity with vehicle inspections, delivery documentation, and electronic logging systems

Schedule: Based on delivery needs, including possible early mornings and extended driving hours. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
