Adelphi is seeking Physical Therapists to provide services to students at schools in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidates will provide targeted physical therapy services to enhance students’ mobility, strength, and physical access within the school setting.

Requirements:

• Licensed Physical Therapist

Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ gross motor functioning and mobility needs to determine educational impact.

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy interventions aligned with IEP goals.

• Deliver therapy services within school environments to promote safe and functional access to learning.

• Monitor and document student progress in compliance with IDEA and school standards; participate in ARD/IEP meetings.

• Consult with educators and staff to recommend mobility, positioning, and access supports across settings.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
