Job Title: Ā Counselor Aide

Location: Ā Main Office Warren - 415 E Washington Avenue, Washington New Jersey

Position Type: Ā Full Time

Salary: Ā $37,500.00

Job Description/Summary

The Counselor Aide is responsible for receiving and scheduling referrals for DCP&P involved adults. The Counselor Aide must be highly organized to keep manage office calendar, distribute urine drug screen results, complete paperwork with clients and maintain all required logs. The Counselor Aide works in a supportive role to the Assessment Counselor, and is comfortable working as a team. The Counselor Aide also collects random urine drugs screens as requested by DCP&P.

Responsibilities

•  Ā Ā Handle all aspects of the referral process, receive and schedule incoming referrals

•  Ā Ā Collect urine drug screens in accordance with Chain of Custody procedure

•  Ā Ā Conduct home visits as needed and complete chain of custody drug screens.

•  Ā Ā Transport clients as instructed and responsible for maintaining the vehicle.

Competencies

•  Ā Ā Proficiently communicates - written and verbal

•  Ā Ā Highly organized

•  Ā Ā Knowledge of Addictions Preferred.

Qualifications

•  Ā Ā Education - High School Diploma

•  Ā Ā License - Valid NJ Driver's License in good standing
