Joint Mission Integration Lead

TULK is a boutique consulting firm delivering mission-focused systems integration, acquisition, engineering, analysis, and operational transition services to Defense and national-security clients. We build practical teams that connect mission needs, technology, acquisition decisions, and fielded operational effect.

We know that capable technology only creates value when it is integrated, tested, supportable, and trusted by the people who use it.

The Role

Lead complex mission and acquisition-integration work that translates operational needs into executable systems-integration, test, transition, and acquisition actions.

What You Will Do

  • Lead mission-focused integration efforts across operators, engineers, acquisition personnel, technical authorities, and program offices.
  • Use mission threads, operational effects, capability gaps, and system dependencies to shape actionable technical and acquisition decisions.
  • Direct small, senior teams addressing ambiguous cross-organization integration and operational-transition problems.
  • Prepare and defend concise decision products that connect technical evidence to recommended actions.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in mission engineering, mission analysis, systems-of-systems engineering, or mission-thread work.
  • Demonstrated acquisition portfolio analysis, capability portfolio management, requirements-to-acquisition translation, or operational-transition experience.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership across Government and industry stakeholders.
  • United States citizenship is required.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce concise, decision-ready technical products.
  • Applicants must provide specific examples of their personal technical delivery, including the mission or operational problem, their technical role, and the outcome.

What Makes an Application Stand Out

Show how you personally converted a mission or operational need into an integration, test, transition, fielding, or acquisition decision. Name the problem, your technical role, the stakeholders you worked with, the evidence you produced, and the operational outcome.

How to Apply

Submit a resume and answer the application questions. TULK advances applicants whose resumes and responses clearly demonstrate relevant technical delivery and answer the required screening questions.
