What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking anĀ Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT)Ā analystĀ toĀ supportĀ a complex projectĀ providingĀ technical and advisoryĀ services toĀ the Department of State.Ā The candidate willĀ beĀ on the āground floorā of helping the client develop OSINT capabilities.Ā In addition to supporting tool selection, the candidate willĀ conductĀ narrativeĀ open-source intelligence, engageĀ numerousĀ propriety data sources, and conduct analysis toĀ identifyĀ and track activities of interest.Ā They will support all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key information gaps, through data collection, from performing analyses to delivery actionable intelligence.Ā Ā

In this role, you will have an opportunity to interact with the clientsā senior managementĀ andĀ brief key stakeholders.Ā You will workĀ as part of a largerĀ cross-functionalĀ team, supportingĀ technical/management meetings working alongsideĀ the team and client.Ā Day-to-day,Ā youāllĀ support client deliverables, often concerning various National Security threat actors, to include internal and client deliverables and presentations, day-to-day projectĀ logistics, and special projects as the need arises.Ā

Responsibilities will includeĀ but not limited to:Ā Ā
Supporting the assessment andĀ selectionĀ of OSINT technology that willĀ assistĀ the Department inĀ identifyingĀ and analyzing adversarial narratives across foreign information environments.Ā Ā
Managing tool enablement for clients, including hands-on support and coordination with vendors as needed.Ā
Conducting open-source intelligence and proprietary research across social media, deep/dark web, and other sources.Ā Ā
PerformingĀ link analysis and develop network diagrams to illustrate relationships between individuals, organizations, and other entities.Ā Ā
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "TOP SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
Bachelorās DegreeĀ Ā
FOUR (4)Ā years of relevant experienceĀ inĀ OSINTĀ and data collection and analysis techniques
ProficientĀ in OSINTĀ tool selection
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience working with the Department of StateĀ and Intelligence CommunityĀ
Experience in an international settingĀ Ā
Excellent organizational and written communication skills; capability toĀ clearly and succinctly define problems and outline solutionsĀ
Strong attention to detailĀ Ā
Experience with technical writing or report productionĀ
A high-quality combination of some interests, skills, and experiences related to:Ā
Open-source data setsĀ Ā
Open-source tools/softwareĀ
Social media platforms and aggregators for analysis purposes,Ā

Other technology (e.g., natural language processing, web-scraping techniques),Ā

Deep & Dark Web, encrypted apps (e.g., TOR, Telegram)Ā
Specialized niche skills/knowledge (e.g.,Ā foreign propaganda narratives)Ā
