Responsibilities:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assists and shows good judgment in analyzing problems and taking appropriate action in both routine and emergency situations.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Communicates effectively and appropriately. Uses good judgment as to what to communicate to whom as wells the best way to get that accomplished.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Handles sensitive or difficult issues with diplomacy and confidence.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Remains objective in the face of strong emotions. Can acknowledge strong emotions without being unduly influenced by their intensity.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Practices within scope of licensure, certification, and/or job description.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Takes personal responsibility for patient care and safety.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Complies with National Patient Safety Goals and other regulatory standards.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Includes safety assessments and planning for all activities and services being provided. Speaks up, and encourages patients and family members to do likewise, if safety is a concern.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Promptly reports safety risks and takes appropriate action to reduce these risks.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintains an uninterrupted line of sight with the patient at all times.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Reports any activity outside of established parameters to assigned RN.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provides comfort measures to patient as needed to assure safety; e.g. additional pillow placement, drink of water as appropriate, repositioning of extremities on request, etc.
Schedule: Rotating days, weekends, and holidays. Rotating daylight, afternoon, and overnight shifts, including 6:30AM-7PM & 6:30PM-7AM.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- BLS-Basic Life Support Certification required, but will provide training if necessary.
- Previous experience working with behavioral health patients is preferred.
- Aggression management, physical comfort and monitoring safety.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: - Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
- Act 33 with renewal
- Act 34 with renewal
- Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
