SAIC is seeking Systems Engineers to join the Machine-assisted Analytic Rapid-repository System (MARS) Advanced Development Operations (DevOps) and Sustainment Support (ADOS) program and provide on-site technical and administrative support to facilitate operations of critical MARS infrastructure and services. This effort focuses on providing a comprehensive set of System/ Software Engineering and IT Services to maintain, sustain, enhance, and improve/ modernize MARS. This position will be located in the National Capital Region.

Please note that this is contingent upon contract award, with an anticipated decision expected by Winter/ Spring 2026.

The Systems Engineer responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Manages and guides the operations, maintenance, and sustenance of both hardware and software components within the MARS environment.
Lead system interoperability testing, ensuring operational data compliance, and supporting the Government during system onboarding activities.
Work closely with stakeholders to document and maintain all necessary system support actions and licenses.

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
One of the following certifications: Certified Network Defender, SecurityX/ CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, CSSLP, GDSA, GSEC, CISSO, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, GCIA, GCLD, GICSP.
Bachelors degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering and 9 years or more relevant experience; Masters and 7 years or more relevant experience; PhD and 4 years or more relevant experience (will consider an additional 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree).
Extensive experience in leading system engineering efforts, developing complex systems, and managing engineering processes.
Proficiency in performing system analyses, conducting requirements gathering, and developing system documentation.
Strong understanding of model-based systems engineering (MBSE), cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
