About the Role

Grasshopper Group, an affiliate of Apis Services Inc., is seeking a compassionate and skilled part-time Outpatient Therapist to provide clinical services to children, adolescents, and adults in a community-based outpatient setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed or license-acquiring clinician looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals seeking mental health support.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients across the lifespan (children, adolescents, and adults)
Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clients' specific goals
Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and trauma-informed care approaches
Conduct therapeutic crisis intervention and provide immediate support to clients in distress
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care
Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records and clinical documentation
Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions

Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience in clinical counseling or therapy preferred, but not required
Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and trauma-informed care
Strong knowledge of social work principles and practices
Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation tools and assessment procedures

Skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to establish rapport with clients and create a safe therapeutic environment
Strong clinical assessment skills to identify mental health needs accurately
Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to provide behavior management strategies for clients with challenging behaviors

Qualifications

Licensed or license-acquiring individuals are encouraged to apply (e.g., LSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent Indiana licensure in process).
