Job Description:

The Esports Lab Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the Varsity Esports teams at Post University. This position requires 10-20 hours per week as well as approval from Financial Aid for Federal Work-Study. 

Location: Post University- Main Campus – Drubner Athletic Building Esports Lab 

Supervisor: Jonathan Martin, Esports Coordinator 

Rate of Pay: Minimum Hourly rate as determined by the state of Connecticut 

This is a seasonal opportunity with a start date as soon as possible. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

The primary responsibility of the Esports Lab Staff Worker is to assist with the daily operations of the Varsity Esports teams which includes but is not limited to: 

-    Greeting those who enter the esports lab ensuring only authorized people enter the esports lab

-    Ensuring that visitors to the esports lab properly sign in

-    Ensure that all the University owned esports lab equipment stays in the esports lab

-    Report defective esports equipment, peripherals, and furniture to the Esports Coordinator

-    Enforce the esports lab rules

-    Other projects and duties as assigned


Minimum Skills, Training and Attributes: 

-    Must be a current student at Post University eligible for Federal Work Study

-    Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work and communicate effectively with the department associates, the University’s students, and guests

-    Strong time management and organizational skills
