Join a growing advanced fabrication team helping change how complex electrical infrastructure is built and delivered. The Electrical Estimator – Advanced Fabrication & Modular Solutions develops accurate and competitive estimates for prefabricated and modular electrical projects supporting data centers, utilities, power generation, industrial facilities, and other critical infrastructure.
This role reviews drawings, one-lines, schematics, and specifications; completes material and labor take-offs; obtains vendor pricing; and prepares bids and proposals in partnership with project management, engineering, procurement, and operations.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare electrical estimates using drawings, schematics, specifications, RFQs/RFPs, and customer requirements.
- Perform quantity take-offs and develop material, equipment, fabrication, and labor estimates.
- Obtain and evaluate vendor and supplier quotes for pricing, scope, and specification compliance.
- Identify scope gaps, risks, assumptions, clarifications, and exclusions that may impact project cost or execution.
- Prepare bids, proposals, cost breakdowns, and supporting documentation.
- Partner with project management, engineering/design, procurement, operations, and vendors throughout the estimating process.
- Support estimate-to-project handoff following award and maintain accurate estimating and historical cost data.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to PPC Partners’ safety culture and goal of zero incidents.
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, equipment, and construction methods.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, schematics, and specifications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet customer bid deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience That Will Help You Succeed
Experience in one or more of the following is beneficial but not required in every area:
- Electrical estimating, field construction, engineering, design, BIM/VDC, or project management.
- Advanced fabrication, prefabrication, manufacturing, or modular construction.
- Data centers, utilities, substations, power generation, industrial facilities, or other critical infrastructure.
- Low-, medium-, or high-voltage electrical distribution systems.
- Accubid/Trimble or similar estimating software.
- Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD, Autodesk, or similar design/document tools.

Physical Requirements
Primarily an office and advanced fabrication environment requiring extended periods of sitting, standing, and computer use. Occasional visits to fabrication facilities, project sites, vendors, or customer locations may be required.
