Vice President - Farm and Retail

Are you anexperienced Cannabis Cultivator with a significant presence on socialmedial?  Have you overseen a vertically integrated Cannabis operation?  Viridian Staffing's (www.viridianstaffing.com) Client islooking for a Managing Director to lead a licensed indoor grow operation and dispensary in the BattleCreek, Michigan, area.

As Head ofCultivation, you will be responsible for the leadership and organization forall retail and cultivation activities in the grow operation.  You will direct and oversee the employeeactivities for all operations from propagation, planting and cultivating, toirrigation, harvesting, and record keeping and ensure the retail business is managed properly. You should have a "rollup your sleeves" attitude in order to be successful in this operation andare very passionate about quality yields and continuous improvement in both the farm and retail.  Youwill be expected to refine and enforce existing Standard Operating Procedures(SOPs) in an effort to advance the Company's mission, along with developing KPIs and milestones to ensure the organization's success.   Usingyour knowledge of Michigan Cannabis regulations and OSHA rules, you will ensureadherence to compliance and safety regulations by all employees.  With your proven success in meeting orexceeding yield and quality expectations, you will plan and direct operationsfor optimum quality crop production.  Using your proven experience with operational excellence, you are able to run a cultivation facility efficiently and help drive revenue growth at the retail level.  You have created a successful personal or corporate Cannabis brand as well.  As a successful people manager knownfor inspiring your employees, you enjoy hiring, training, and coachingemployees in all aspects of the grow operation.

The ideal Managing Director will have 5+ years of successful commercial cannabis cultivationexperience, 1+ year of experience managing a regulated Cannabis Retail Store, and at least 2+ years of that experience as a people manager in acultivation environment. You have managed indoor cultivation facilities ofat least 10k+ square feet of canopy which ideally use rockwool. Experience withGrowlink or similar system is required. You have experience with LEDlighting. You have phenomenal communication skills and enjoy being part of ateam, versus only spending time with the plants. Ideally, you'll have adegree in horticulture or agronomy.  Youare an expert when it comes to climate control and understand crop planning andscheduling. It is preferred that you understand the climate complexities of theupper Midwest. You have exceptional communication and presentation skills.  You have experience with Marketing, Sales, HR, and some Financial/Accounting aspects of a vertically integrated Cannabis operation. If you love all aspects of managing a growcycle, mentoring/managing the people who also have a strong passion for cannabis, and developing your direct reports, then we'd love to see your resumeto be considered for this opportunity!

Compensation:  $150K + Bonus
