Responsibilities and Duties The Food Runner is responsible for helping the wait staff and bartenders deliver food and drinks to the guests. Quickly and accurately delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables Communicating with the kitchen and waitstaff to determine needs and relay special requests Keeping the expo line clean and organized and cleaning tables after service Monitoring and replenishing condiments and supplies Checking the doneness, appearance, and presentation of finished dishes and ensuring they meet presentation standards Addressing customer complaints and needs and providing excellent customer service. Assisting with setting tables for new customers Expediting carryout and catering orders Qualifications Neat, clean, and professional appearance Exhibit a sense of urgency Guest-friendly demeanor Successful in a team environment
