Job DetailsJob Location: PROLINE - West Chicago, IL 60185Salary Range: $22.00 - $24.00 HourlyThe Machine Operator - Wire Respooling is responsible for operating wire respooling equipment to transfer wire from ono'Spool to another while maintaining quality, accuracy, and production efficiency. This position ensures wire is wound properly according to customer specifications and company standards while following all safety procedures. Key Responsibilities: ● Set up and operate wire respooling rnachines according to production schedules and work orders. ● Load and unload wire spools using appropriate material handling equipment, o Monitor machine operation to ensure proper wire tension, alignment, and winding patterns. ● Inspect wire and finished spools for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications, o Measure and verify wire lengths, spool sizes, and labeling requirements. ● Perform routine machine adjustments and basic preventive maintenance. ● Accurately complete production documentation and inventory transactions. ● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. ● Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards. ® Communicate production issues and equipment concerns to supervisors and maintenance personnel. QualificationsQualifications: Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred. Ability to read and understand work orders, specifications, and production documents. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic math and measurement skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Forklift certification or experience is a plus. Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
