​Role: Asa Chief Strategy and Performance Officer, you will drive the development andexecution of long-term strategies, focusing on high-impact initiatives.  You will work in collaboration with the ChiefExecutive Officer to establish the hospital strategic plan, and will be responsiblefor leading strategic planning for the hospital. You will also drive operationsof the Hospital working cross departmentally to facilitate improvements inoperational efficiency and achievement of departmental goals, which support theoverall strategic plan of the organization. As well as working in conjunctionwith the Chief Executive Officer and Director of FiscalManagement, for the formulation of the Hospital’s annual budget and expenditureplan.  The Chief Strategy and PerformanceOfficer designs and implements value-based growth strategies, identifying newbusiness opportunities, clinical service line development and partnerships.This executive level position will provide strong business intelligence to theexecutive leaders of the Hospital providing analysis, projections, return oninvestment estimates, and market analysis to support business decisions.


Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: Ten years of experience as an administrator of a staff or support area in a program providing direct comprehensive services for patients in a rehabilitation or acute care hospital, of which three years must have been at a supervisory level.
Substitutions:
A qualifying college degree may substitute for the portion of the general experience as follows: associate’s, two years; bachelor’s, four years; and master’s, five years. Qualifying degrees include: business administration, accounting, nursing, health care administration, business education, marketing, economics, banking and finance, industrial engineering, mathematics, computer networking, commerce, public administration, and industrial management.

PreferredQualifications: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance,Accounting, Public Administration, or Economics. Board Certified in Healthcare Managementas a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).  Twelve years' of experience in healthcareservices, and a proven record of accomplishment in health care/hospitalenvironments, particularly in the areas of operational excellence, performanceimprovement and growth. Seven years of experience in the analysis and oversightof driving performance optimization, strategic planning and operational successwithin a large public or private sector health care institution with five yearsof the experience at a leadership/managerial level. Skilled in Lean methodologyand operational strategies that maximize patient care value by systematicallyremoving waste and reducing errors, while improving the quality of care.
