Family Church Network

 

Position Overview:  Under general supervision, this position is responsible for providing technical leadership for AVL equipment and resources to effectively execute weekend services and events at all campuses within the Family Church network. 

Reports to:  Technical Director

 

Prerequisites

  • Ability to meet all minimum eligibility requirements to be a member of Family Church.
  • Affirm the FCN statements of belief and practices as codified in our organizational bylaws and detailed in the Baptist Faith and Message confessional statement of 2000.
  • Maintain a close and healthy walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Maintain a high standard of excellence and moral character.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow.
  • Professional and positive demeanor.
  • Record of consistent, high-level performance.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • One year experience in AVL with strong background in Audio,
  • Excellent attendance habits,
  • Excellent problem-solving skills,
  • Proficient in MS Word, MD Outlook, PowerPoint / ProPresenter,
  • Experience in leading paid and/or volunteer staff,
  • Experience in multi-site church environment is preferred,

 

General Responsibilities

  • Ensure all values & objectives for worship services, events and other AVL needs are supported and executed.
  • Recruit, develop & lead specialized technical volunteer staff.
  • Create and maintain complete volunteer files.
  • Maintain detailed documentation including best practices for all campuses.
  • Manage personal and team workflow, including documenting assigned duties and tasks.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a stressful work environment.
  • Maintain cooperative spirit assisting others when needed or requested.
  • Communicate with leadership, peers, members, volunteers and prospects.
  • Work a flexible schedule, which includes after hours, evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Demonstrate stewardship of church resources including supplies, equipment, intellectual property, etc.
  • Attend and/or lead regularly scheduled departmental and church-wide staff meetings.
  • Understand and adhering to procedural guidelines and policies.

 

Specific Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical support for all worship services and special events in all venues at the Downtown Campus, and the Family Church Network.

• Ensure technical systems are prepared and working efficiently prior to events.

• Mix audio for services at a professional level.

• Program lighting for all for services and operate lighting controls when needed. 

• Prepare and organize stage to be clean and prepared for worship team. 

• Attend weekly production planning meetings   .

 

2.Work with Technical Director in training, mentoring, recruiting and leading creative teams

• Provide leadership and oversight for volunteers.

• Ensure volunteers perform their tasks in accordance with policies and guidelines .

• Maintain schedule of production volunteers at Downtown Campus using Planning Center for weekly services, special events and productions.

• Demonstrate professionalism and servant leadership at all times. 

 

3.Maintain all AVL equipment.

• Ensure all AVL equipment is operational.

• Communicate to Technical Director any upgrades, repairs, and improvements need to equipment.

 

4.Assist Technical Director in any technical improvements as
