Responsibilities
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, specialists, and school support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver instruction aligned with IEP goals using engaging, differentiated teaching methods
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and tools to address the individual needs of each student
• Establish clear learning objectives, assess student progress, and maintain accurate records
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student development and support home-based reinforcement strategies
Requirements
- Active Minnesota Tier 2, Tier 3, or Tier 4 Special Education Teaching License required (Tier 1 license and candidates without an active License will not be considered)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Minimum of 6 months of Special Education teaching experience within the past 5 years
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and support diverse learning needs
