Masters level clinical licensure in New Jersey is required (LAC, LPC, LCSW, LSW, LAMFT, or LCADC) About Us: Guardian Recovery – Princeton Psychiatry & Counseling is a leading counseling, therapy, and mental health treatment center in Princeton, NJ, offering comprehensive psychiatric care and counseling services to help you on your path to wellness. Our expert team provides both therapy and counseling in our intensive outpatient program (IOP) designed to address a wide range of mental health disorders such as ADHD, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and OCD. At our Princeton, NJ mental health clinic in Mercer County, we take a personalized approach to mental health treatment, creating individualized care plans that align with each client’s unique needs and goals. Our experienced psychiatrists and therapists work collaboratively to provide evidence-based treatments that address not just the symptoms, but the underlying causes of mental health challenges for long-lasting wellness and quality of life.  Schedule: Flexible and Virtual! Mental Health and Substance Abuse Disorder programming tracks are available: Evenings 6PM to 9PM (two separate 1-hour-and-15-minute long sessions) QualificationsQualification Requirements: Masters level education in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Sociology, or a related field is required. Prior experience in facilitating therapeutic groups is required. Ability to create a safe and inclusive support group environment, including a strong interpersonal communication skillset. Commitment to promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Additional training or certifications is preferred, but not required: Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), etc. Licensing Requirements: A valid and unencumbered clinical license for the State of New Jersey, which can be as a: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Social Worker (LSW) Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT)  Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) Pay: This is a 1099 independent contractor role that is compensated per group facilitated (these are 1 hour and 15 minute sessions, plus time needed for documentation). This is a part-time position without benefits.   Location: This is 100% virtual, but please note that all qualified professionals must still be clinically licensed in the State of New Jersey.   Group Facilitator Responsibilities: Facilitate therapeutic groups for individuals undergoing outpatient and partial hospitalization mental health programs. Create a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages active participation and engagement. Develop and implement group activities and discussions aligned with treatment goals. Foster a sense of community and collaboration among group members. Monitor and address individual needs and challenges within the group setting. Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals during group sessions. Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure the integration of group therapy into individual treatment plans. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of group sessions and participant progress. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and documentation standards.
