Community Mainstreaming Associates (CMA) is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team!

As a DSP, you will play an important role in helping the people we support achieve their personal goals, build meaningful relationships, develop greater independence, and enjoy everyday life.
Essential responsibilities
As a Direct Support Professional, you will:
- Provide direct care, support, and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Support individuals with daily living activities, personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks as needed.
- Encourage independence and assist individuals in making choices about their daily lives.
- Support community participation, recreational activities, appointments, and other activities.
- Follow individualized service plans and support individuals in achieving their personal goals.
- Promote dignity, respect, choice, inclusion, and self-advocacy.
- Assist with medication administration and health-related needs as trained and authorized.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including daily notes, progress notes, and required records.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, families, and other members of the individual's support team.
- Follow all agency policies, procedures, safety requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and report incidents or concerns in accordance with agency requirements.
- Serve as a positive role model and advocate for the individuals we support.
