On-Call Airport Snow Removal Personnel

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: 

Rocky Mountain Metro Airport is currently hiring Airport Snow Removal Personnel (Non-Benefited) for on-call snow removal work. Airport Snow Removal Personnel is an on-call position that is primarily responsible in assisting Airport Operations with snow removal duties and will also perform a variety of general maintenance duties for the airport grounds and buildings. Operates light and heavy equipment.   

SCHEDULE: 

This is an on-call, non-benefited position with an approximate time frame from October 15th until May 15th 2027.  

COMPENSATION:  

Hiring Range: $26-$30 USD Hourly 

Compensation will be determined based on education, experience and skills. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 

• Perform snow removal operations according to FAA regulations and guidelines.  

• Assist in the general maintenance of airport equipment, including cleaning and sweeping.  

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities: 

• 1 or more years of relevant work experience. 

• Snow removal experience. 

• Experience working in an Airport environment. 

Additional Job Information: 

• A valid Colorado driver’s license is required for positions that drive on County Business in either a county or personal vehicle within 30-days of hire or beginning to serve as an intern or volunteer. 

• Offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of criminal history, motor vehicle report, education verification, and/or references for all positions.
