Job DetailsJob Location: Regis College Campus - Weston, MA 02493Position Type: AdjunctSummary Regis College is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach DH 106 Head/Neck Anatomy & Embryology (Mondays 8-10:50am) during the fall semester. This class will be held in person on the Weston campus. A passion for excellence with gentleness, a commitment to diversity, collaboration and innovation, and positive energy are fundamental to this position.   Responsibilities Teach the DH 106 Head/Neck Anatomy & Embryology class in person on the Weston campus. Engage with all responsibilities associated with teaching including content preparation, grading, student engagement, academic assessment, responding to student emails, etc. Meet with the Program Director periodically to discuss content, student progress, challenges, etc. Utilize technology necessary for teaching. Communicate effectively with students and other faculty in the program. QualificationsRequirements Applicants must possess a minimum of a master’s degree in dental hygiene or a related discipline (DMD or DDS). Previous teaching experience preferred. Current continuing education related to the topic and teaching methodology preferred (documented on completed CODA biosketch). Ability to uphold the university’s commitment to inclusive excellence in a diverse educational community.   Working Conditions/Physical Demands Normal classroom teaching environment, not subject to extremes in noise, odors, etc. Ability to stand and/or sit during lecture.
