Job DetailsJob Location: Regis College Campus - Weston, MA 02493Position Type: Adjunct  Summary The Department of Humanities at Regis College seeks an Adjunct Instructor to teach the course SP-100: Introductory Spanish for Health Sciences. SP-100 will be conducted as a synchronous Zoom course, Mondays 5:00–8:00 PM, in our regular 15-week semester (8/31/26–12/15/26).   Course Description This is an oral survival course for students who have never had or have had very little experience with Spanish (no more than one or two years of high school Spanish). Emphasis is placed on speaking ability, and students will develop a basic communicative competence in Spanish through a series of lessons designed specifically for today's health professional. Students will have ample opportunities to learn about the customs and cultures of the Spanish-speaking world.   Essential Functions Teaching SP-100 Ensuring appropriate curriculum design, implementation, and assessment of the course Providing timely feedback to students and holding office hours at least 2 hours/week (this can be done via Zoom) Please Note: Adjunct instructors are NOT expected to attend school or department meetings (though they are welcome to), conduct academic advising, or serve on standing committees.   Other Responsibilities Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse group of co-workers and students while upholding the College’s commitment to inclusive excellence. Qualifications  Requirements M.A. in Spanish Fluency in Spanish At least three years teaching experience.
