We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer & Machine Operator toprogram, set up, and operate Okuma CNC milling and CNC lathe machines.The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing precisionstainless steel and mild steel components according to engineering drawings andproduction specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Program, set up, and operate Okuma CNC milling and lathe machines.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Manufacture precision components from stainless steel and mild steel.
  • Select tooling, set machine parameters, and perform machine setups.
  • Conduct quality inspections and ensure components meet required tolerances.
  • Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to maintain production efficiency.
  • Adhere to safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.


Requirements


  • Proven experience programming and operating Okuma CNC milling and lathe machines.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Experience working with stainless steel and mild steel.
  • Proficient in using precision measuring instruments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Relevant trade qualification in Machining, Toolmaking, Fitting & Turning, or Mechanical Engineering.
