A Sales Associate supports an engaging and organized shopping experience by maintaining merchandise presentation, restocking inventory, and providing exceptional customer service. This role operates in a fast-paced retail environment and plays a key part in achieving store appearance and sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Stay within designated floor area to ensure consistent customer coverage.
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer product questions and help customers locate merchandise.
• Return merchandise from fitting rooms and stock areas to the sales floor.
• Retrieve merchandise from the stockroom upon customer or team request.
• Maintain merchandise displays according to visual standards.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including:
  • Tidying racks and displays
  • Buttoning and folding items
  • Picking up merchandise from the floor
  • Straightening signage and fixtures
• Stay informed on store promotions, policies, and updates by reviewing internal communications (e.g., Lowdown memos).
• Adhere to company dress code.
• Works collaboratively with team members and assists new team members during their training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by store leadership.

Requirements

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required—training provided.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-traffic environment.
• Basic verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Customer-oriented with strong common-sense problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete flooring.
• Frequent reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling of merchandise and fixtures.
• Regular bending, stooping, crouching, or kneeling to retrieve and organize merchandise.
• Must be able to lift or move items up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced, team-oriented retail setting.
• Moderate noise level typical of a busy store environment.
