We are looking for a 1st Shift Material Handler:Essential Functions Transport all needed supplies correctly and on time to required line or pre-batch area.  Communicate with operations to determine proper quantities and placement of items needed Responsible for complying with Good Manufacturing Practices, maintaining proper sanitation and housekeeping in area. Properly put away materials Communicate and coordinate with other Material Handlers to ensure efficient operation of the department Inform proper departments or supervisors of any issues or concerns Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor Load and unload trailers safely  Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 1 Year of stand-up forklift experience The ability to read and understand production's schedule Outstanding attendance record Experience with RF scanners Cycle count experience Comfortable working in a cold & Hot environment Experience working in a warehouse environment  Desired Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.Competencies Technical Capacity Ability to work cooperatively and maintain a professional working relationship with employees Good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written required. Good organizational skills required Flexibility Working Conditions  Standard Manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to hot/cold temperatures, moving mechanical parts and power industrial trucks.   Requires 100% onsite attendance to perform the essential functions of the role.    The schedule for this role is typically Monday through Saturday, 10-hour shifts. Physical Demands  The work is classified as Light - Medium Physical Demand Level (PDL) by the US Dept. of Labor’s Dictionary of Occupational Titles.
