Summary

The Fright Lights Recreation Attendant brings the House of Screams to life by creating a fun, high-energy, and unforgettable haunted experience for our guests. This role primarily serves as a scare actor, using character, creativity, and enthusiasm to entertain and engage guests while helping deliver the excitement of Fright Lights.

 Individual will have the opportunity to promote and actively engage guests of all ages, while helping to plan, design, and coordinate events throughout the park property.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

•Create and coordinate memorable events for guests of all ages

•Outgoing and fun personality

•Dress up in character costumes, as needed

•Ensure proper supplies acquired for all events

•Set up and clean up events

•Work directly with the recreation manager to ensure all events meet the standards of the commission

•Works a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays

•Interact with the public with a cheerful and positive attitude, solve guest problems and complaints in a proper manner, and maintain harmonious working relationships with fellow employees

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Training is provided.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to respond to effectively to all business communications.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
