Civil Engineer – Discipline

Responsibilities:

• Design and coordination of work for multi-disciplineprojects (due diligence/site feasibility studies, site engineering, throughregulatory approvals, full permitting for full range of site developmentprojects)
  
• Develop site layout and design (site gradingand storm drainage, roadway design, water and sewer infrastructure, erosion andsediment control)
  
• Prepare hydrology and hydraulic calculations
  
• Project administration duties (report writing,gathering information, writing proposals/correspondence, tracking project costs,completing progress reports)
  
• Prepare engineer’s opinion of probably cost fordesigned projects and specifications for public bids
  
• Coordinate tasks with other departments (engineeringand architectural)
  
• Build/maintain client relationships
  
• Responsible for delivering projects on-time, onbudget, and within quality standards
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering orclosely related discipline
  
• 12+ years of design experience with a focus onsite development projects
  
• PE License
  
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles andpractices of related technical areas
  
• Knowledge of NYSDEC storm water drainage andSWPPP requirements
  
• Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills,Autoturn, Excel, and Photoshop
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
