We are looking for a detail oriented, reliable, Purchasing Specialist to join our team! If you are looking for a company where you are part of a family, then Rite Rug is the place for you! $40,000 a year.  POSITION SUMMARY: Processing orders and following up with vendors. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  Ensure purchase orders are updated with the proper information Product Data Entry  Review purchase orders to ensure efficiency Print and fax in orders to vendors daily Respond to inquiries regarding all purchase orders Assign and reserve all inventory Follow up on all orders in a timely manner Maintain a good relationship with vendors and staff Maintain files Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Have earned a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in a related position or in the Flooring Industry is preferred. Possess and have demonstrated proficient computer experience in Microsoft Office. Experience with data entry.  Be able to multi-task and prioritize the duties required. Must be detail oriented and organized Exhibit effective oral and written communication skills.
