This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships with residents and takes pride in providing quality care.As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will assist residents with activities of daily living, personal care, mobility, meals, and other needs while helping promote their comfort, dignity, and independence. As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA), you will also be responsible for safely administering medications according to physician orders and facility policies.Responsibilities Provide compassionate, respectful, and person-centered care to residents. Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, mobility, and other activities of daily living. Monitor and report changes in residents' condition or needs to the appropriate nursing staff. As a CNA, provide hands-on care while promoting resident safety, dignity, and independence. As a CMA, administer medications accurately and safely according to established procedures. Complete accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the nursing team. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. Develop positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers. Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in the State of Kansas, or ability to meet facility requirements. Previous long-term care or senior living experience is preferred but not required. Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent resident care.
