Paint and Finish Detail I- First Shift

JOB SUMMARY:

To prepare painted and buffed parts for final assembly

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Removes any and all protective material from standard finished painted parts. (tape, cork, etc.)

· Cleans excess glue from all areas of part.

· Thoroughly inspects finish on standard parts and reviews paperwork for all the proper signatures.

· Identifies discrepancies and buffs additional areas that require polishing.

· Responsible only for own work.

· Performs other related duties as required.

EDUCATION:

· Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or bronze level WorkKeys certification. Textron Aviation Blueprint certification preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

· 6+ months of finish experience with exposure to sanding and buffing areas preferred.
