How you'll make an impact in this role

• Empower Your Team: Act as a hands-on mentor, guiding and educating nursing and support staff to ensure every team member performs at their absolute best.
• Architect Patient Care: Use your clinical expertise to assess daily patient needs and craft strategic assignments that pair the right caregiver with the right patient for optimal outcomes.
• Champion Quality: Constantly evaluate the effectiveness of care on the floor, identifying hurdles before they become issues and ensuring our standards of excellence are never compromised.
• Lead with Empathy: Serve as the first point of contact for patient or family concerns, resolving challenges with grace and professional diplomacy.
• Build the Future: Play a key role in the growth of our unit by providing vital input on hiring new talent and shaping the professional development of your peers.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.

Education:

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional requirements you'll need

• 2+ years of inpatient nursing experience.
