How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Perform computerized tomographic procedures with technical precision to provide radiologists with the high-quality data necessary to ensure accurate detection of disease and injury.
  • Prioritize patient comfort and safety through expert positioning and the precise selection of technical parameters tailored to each unique individual.
  • Manage clinical administration of contrast media within your professional scope, ensuring all state and federal safety regulations are strictly met.
  • Advocate for patient well-being by monitoring responses during procedures and maintaining a rigorous standard for radiation safety and protocol updates.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date. NMTCB(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomographyrequired in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional requirements you'll need

  • Professional Credentialing:  ARRT Certification in CT
  • Clinical Versatility: Must possess currently practiced diagnostic portable, fluoro, and surgery skills to support diverse patient needs.
