Instrumentation Technician

Job Details: Job Location: PHOENIX PAPER WICKLIFFE LLC - Wickliffe, KY, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Day, Phoenix Paper Wickliffe LLC is searching for qualified candidates to assume the role of Instrumentation Technicians for dedicated, mill-wide positions supporting the Paper Machine, Pulp Mill, Power & Recovery, and Utilities.  Summary: This position is an opportunity to be part of a stable, rapidly expanding organization that offers a tremendous amount of growth potential. The successful candidates will provide effective support for specific projects in the Maintenance department. This is a Salaries, exempt position. Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Repairs, maintains, and installs instrumentation systems and equipment. Inspects and tests instrumentation equipment as required. Installs pneumatic, electronic, and other instrumentation equipment. Disassembles malfunctioning instrumentation equipment, troubleshoots and tests mechanisms and circuitry for defects. Operates distributive controls and programmable controllers to diagnose control problems. Assists with planning layouts, running conduit, wiring and tubing both new and existing installations. Assists with developing and carrying out preventative maintenance programs. Performs mechanical maintenance tasks. Assists with any other duties/projects given by supervisor(s).Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. Strong industrial instrumentation troubleshooting and calibration skills Experience with transmitters, control valves, analyzers, and 4-20 mA loops Knowledge of DCS/PLC systems, including DeltaV or similar platforms Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex instrumentation issues 5+ years of industrial instrumentation experience preferred Experience in Pulp & Paper, Chemical Processing, Refining, or Power Generation is a plus After-hours and outage support required Phoenix Paper offers competitive wages & benefits packages that include health, dental, life insurance, paid holidays, matching 401(k) & much more.Phoenix Paper Wickliffe LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Qualifications:
