JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

MCC’s Continuing Education Division is seeking enthusiastic and experienced non-credit instructors to provide engaging, hands-on learning experiences for the community in STEM classes for Fall 2026 and beyond. Topics will include, and are not limited to: technology (coding, robotics, drones, etc.), biological sciences, environmental sciences, and engineering. Instructors introduce students to STEM concepts in a safe, supportive, and interactive environment. Responsibilities include leading activities from the curriculum, supervising participants, promoting student engagement, and creating a positive learning experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Teaching experience (all ages)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging and practical course content from a provided curriculum
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to helping others achieve personal growth and enrichment
  • Knowledge of technology (coding, robotics, drones, etc.), biological sciences, environmental sciences, and/or an area of engineering



This position will have opportunities for teaching assignments throughout the year. MCC holds classes at multiple locations throughout the Metro area, including Fremont and Blair.
