We're hiring a houseperson to join the public-facing side of our housekeeping team, cleaning and maintaining common areas as well as performing heavier tasks on the rooms side. Previous hotel and/or cleaning experience is helpful but not required -- as long as you're the right person, we'll teach you everything you need to know to exceed standards for work quality and guest happiness. To be successful, you will be a reliable, enthusiastic multitasker who can work independently as well as get along with your team and help out where needed. You will demonstrate and promote 100% dedication to providing the best possible experience for our guests and employees through excellent guest service and outperforming cleanliness standards. Responsibilities will include:

• Making sure linens and supplies are stocked and getting them to housekeepers

• Assist housekeepers with linens and trash

• Flip mattresses and move furniture

• Vacuum & clean public areas of the property

• Floor care

• Light maintenance (changing light bulbs, etc.)

• Other job duties as assigned

Requirements: 

• Highschool diploma or GED

• Previous hotel or heavy cleaning experience preferred but not required; we'll teach you what you need to know.

• Flexible availability.

• Able to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 pounds.

• Stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours at a time.

• Speak, read, write, and understand English.
