Wilmington Family Dental is looking for a friendly, motivated, and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our team!

We are seeking someone who takes pride in providing excellent patient care, enjoys building relationships with patients, and wants to be part of a welcoming dental practice.

Position Details

• Position: Dental Hygienist
• Schedule: Full-time, 4–5 days per week (ideally 5 days)
• Hours: Daytime hours
• Evenings: No evenings!
• Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care.
• Perform periodontal assessments and oral health screenings.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive dental care.
• Take dental X-rays as needed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Work collaboratively with the dentist and dental team to provide exceptional patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Current state dental hygiene license.
• Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, compassionate, and professional approach to patient care.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work well as part of a team.
