About the Role

Join a global Silicon Engineering organization of 400+ professionals and play a critical role in driving operational excellence, workforce planning, and strategic decision-making. As the Lead Operations Analyst, you will partner closely with Engineering, Finance, HR, and business leadership to deliver insights that shape organizational growth, resource investments, and hiring strategies.


This role is ideal for professionals who have experience supporting semiconductor product development organizations, engineering teams, or R&D functions, and who enjoy combining business analytics, financial planning, workforce strategy, and operational execution. You will build scalable data solutions, develop forecasting models, and leverage AI-powered tools to improve planning accuracy and business efficiency.
 

Key Responsibilities
 

Strategic Workforce & Resource Planning

· Develop and maintain workforce planning models that provide visibility into technical skills, staffing levels, organizational capacity, and future hiring needs.

· Identify skill gaps, resource constraints, and organizational risks to support effective business and talent planning.

· Partner with leadership to support headcount planning and long-term organizational growth strategies.
 

Financial Forecasting & Business Analysis

· Create forecasting models for operational expenses, software licensing, contractor spend, and headcount-related costs.

· Analyze business performance and provide recommendations that improve financial and operational outcomes.

· Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario-planning activities in partnership with Finance.
 

Analytics & Operational Insights

· Build and manage operational datasets that support executive decision-making.

· Leverage AI-powered tools and advanced analytics to identify trends, generate insights, and automate reporting.

· Develop business reviews, dashboards, and leadership reporting that provide actionable recommendations.
 

Stakeholder Partnership

· Serve as a trusted business partner to Engineering leaders, Finance, HR, Operations, and Program Management teams.

· Gather, validate, and synthesize information from multiple sources to drive informed business decisions.

· Present complex analyses and recommendations to senior leadership in a concise, business-focused manner.
 

Process Improvement & Automation

· Drive operational efficiencies through automation, workflow optimization, and AI-enabled business solutions.

· Improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and planning processes across the organization.
 

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Analytics, Engineering, Economics, or related discipline.

· 5+ years of experience in Business Operations, Finance, FP&A, Workforce Planning, Strategic Planning, Operations Analytics, or related functions.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience translating data into business recommendations.

· Experience building forecasting models, planning scenarios, and operational reporting.

· Ability to collect, reconcile, and analyze data from multiple systems and stakeholders.

· Strong communication and executive presentation skills.

· Experience working cross-functionally with senior leaders and global teams.

· Comfortable leveraging AI-powered business tools for reporting, forecasting, and operational decision support.
 

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience within the semiconductor industry, engineering organizations, product development environments, or technology companies.

· Prior experience supporting R&D, Silicon Engineering, Product Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or Technical Operations teams.

· Background in Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Business Finance, or Corporate Planning.

· Experience with headcount planning, workforce analytics, capacity planning, or organizational strategy.

· Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Excel-based modeling, or other analytical tools.

· Familiarity with operational budgeting, spend management, and business case development.

· Experience driving automation, process improvement, and AI-enabled business workflows.
