You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, assisting with directions and maintaining a professional presence in patient-care areas.
• Complete required daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
