As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming campus environment. This driving position involves operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policy, communicating professionally with students, staff, and visitors, and reporting observations. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location policies, providing directions and assistance as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
