We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Nursing (RN) – Surgical Services to provide nursing leadership and operational oversight for surgical services. The ideal candidate will bring substantial Operating Room (OR) experience, proven nursing management or leadership experience, and a current North Carolina or compact RN license.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Nursing (RN) – Surgical Services to provide nursing leadership and operational oversight for surgical services. The ideal candidate will bring substantial Operating Room (OR) experience, proven nursing management or leadership experience, and a current North Carolina or compact RN license.
This senior-level position requires a nursing leader capable of supporting clinical operations, promoting high standards of patient care, developing nursing staff, and contributing to quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives.
The successful candidate will work onsite in Wilson, NC, and collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to support effective surgical services operations.

- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or a valid compact RN license.
- Minimum 5 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience.
- Minimum 3 years of nursing management or leadership experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, guide, and support nursing teams.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Wilson, North Carolina.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with surgical services department operations and clinical coordination.
- Experience with departmental budgeting and resource management.
- Background in nursing staff development, mentoring, and performance management.
- Experience leading quality improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is an established nursing leader with a strong clinical foundation in Operating Room services and at least three years of management or leadership experience. The candidate should be comfortable leading nursing teams, supporting clinical quality and patient safety, managing operational priorities, and working collaboratively with physicians and healthcare leadership.
Candidates must have a current NC RN license or compact RN license and be willing to work onsite in Wilson, NC.
