About the Role:
We are currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Facility Sanitation Professionals to join our team in Wilson, NC. Operating within a large-scale tire manufacturing facility, you will play a critical role in maintaining the health, safety, and cleanliness of our essential employee areas.
Working in tire manufacturing means operating in a heavy industrial environment with high foot traffic, industrial dust, and continuous operations. We rely on our sanitation team to ensure that the hardworking plant staff have clean, safe, and fully stocked restrooms and breakrooms to use during their shifts.
The Schedule (4 On / 4 Off):
This position operates on a highly desirable 4-on, 4-off night shift schedule (4:00AM- 4:00PM, 4:00 PM to 4:00 AM). You will work four consecutive 12-hour shifts followed by four consecutive days off, allowing for excellent work-life balance and essentially half the year off.
We also have some Monday-Friday 7AM-3PM shifts open as well.Â
Core Responsibilities:
Comprehensive Restroom Care: Thoroughly clean, sanitize, and maintain restrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
Breakroom Maintenance: Ensure employee break areas are consistently clean and welcoming by wiping down tables, sweeping/mopping floors, and cleaning microwaves and countertops.
Waste Management: Safely gather and empty trash receptacles from high-traffic areas as well as bathrooms and breakrooms and dispose of waste in designated compactors or bins.
Supply Management: Consistently monitor and replenish essential facility supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue across all assigned zones.
Hazard Prevention: Promptly address and mop up spills, wet floors, or debris to maintain a safe environment for all plant personnel.
What We Are Looking For:
This is an active, physical role in a fast-paced industrial setting. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and takes pride in their work.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical cleaning tasks for the duration of a 12-hour shift. Must be able to lift and carry heavy trash bags and supplies (up to 50 lbs).
Industrial Mindset: Comfortable working in a large manufacturing plant environment (which can be dusty, loud, and busy). Safety glasses and proper PPE will be provided.
Age & Identification: Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid ID.
Screening Requirements:
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen. No exceptions.
