Jr. Digital Designer

SALARY RANGE: $75,000 - $82,000

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Junior Digital Designer supports the creation and production of digital marketing across Tauck’s brands, creating and adapting assets for email, web, social media, and other digital campaigns. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in graphic design, typography, layout, and digital production. Collaborating with the Brand team and marketing partners, this role contributes ideas across a wide range of digital channels while following established brand guidelines and creative frameworks.
 

OBJECTIVES OF ROLE:
• Support the creative team across a range of digital marketing projects and campaigns for all of Tauck’s brands
• Design and adapt digital assets while maintaining consistency with established brand standards
• Support ongoing campaign production, including resizing, versioning, and adapting existing creative across audiences, formats, and placements
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Designs, builds, and QA’s marketing emails, adapting established templates and design system components while ensuring responsive layouts and brand consistency
• Creates web banners and digital advertising assets, adapting creative across sizes, formats, and placements
• Supports website content production by creating and updating itinerary-related imagery and graphics
• Creates and adapts assets for organic and paid social media
• Collaborates with designers, marketing partners, and cross-functional teams to execute creative concepts and campaign deliverables
• Prepares, organizes, and uploads final assets to appropriate content management and marketing platforms
• Incorporates feedback and revisions while maintaining brand standards and meeting project deadlines
 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2–3 years of professional design experience or a strong portfolio demonstrating relevant digital design skills
• Strong foundation in typography, layout, color, imagery, and visual hierarchy
• Proficiency with Figma and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with writers, designers, and the team
• Familiar with animation and motion design tools and techniques
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus
• Experience working with content management system (CMS) platforms is a plus
• Interest in continuing to develop skills across digital design, technology, and emerging creative tools
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related design discipline
